UK Foreign Secretary William Hague will preside and the Secretary-General and Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zainab Bangura are expected to brief. On Monday (24 June), the Security Council will hold a ministerial-level open debate on women, peace and security with a focus on sexual violence in conflict.
